Merry Christmas!

But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be to all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:10-11
This is what today is really about. God sent his one and only son to earth as a baby. This was the greatest gift we have ever been given!
A couple of years after his birth, Wise men from the east, magi, came to him bringing gifts and to worship this child.

While you celebrate today, I pray you remember that Christmas isn't just about giving gifts to friends and family. It isn't' about food, or what you might get.

Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of our Lord! But the story doesn't end there. The story doesn't even end when Jesus was crucified. The truth is, the story hasn't ended. Christ rose from the dead that we may have eternal life. It is a free gift that He has offered us all. All any of us has to do is accept this gift.

I wish you a Merry Christmas, but more than that, I wish you the peace of accepting Christ as your personal Lord, Savior, and King.
