Long story short, I found this article at CNN about how Scientists may be able to make an invisibility cloak
Oh, that's cool.
So, basically, we may not be too far off from a cloaking device or an invisibility cloak.

The mil has been working on this for years. They used a mesh of cameras and fiber optics to take an image and display it on the other side of the object. I think it was on modern marvels. . .
